Andy Murray's Mother Says She's Not an 'Interfering' Tennis Mom

Judy Murray, mother of Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, says she's not an interfering influence in her son's tennis career.

"I think I'm a very supportive mom," she said. "I'm always there for him, but I don't tell him what to do."

Andy Murray, 31, said his mother is "not involved in my day-to-day training or anything like that." He added that she's "always there for me when I need her, but she doesn't push me or anything."

Judy Murray said she's proud of her son's accomplishments, but she knows that he's the one who has put in the hard work.

"I'm just there to support him," she said. "He's the one who has to do the work."

Andy Murray is currently ranked No. 1 in the world. He has won three Grand Slam titles, including Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016.
