Squad Announced Ahead of Home Games
Thierry Henry has announced France's preliminary men's football squad for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The squad, which includes 18 players and four replacement players, will represent France at their home Games. The official squad lists will be published early July.
The squad is led by experienced forward Alexandre Lacazette, who currently plays for Lyon. Other notable players include midfielders Eduardo Camavinga of Real Madrid and Aurelien Tchouameni of Monaco. The squad also includes several promising young players, such as defender William Saliba of Arsenal and forward Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt.
France will be hoping to improve on their performance at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where they were eliminated in the group stage. The team will be competing in Group A at the Paris Games, alongside hosts France, Japan, and Mexico.
