## WNBA News & Fantasy Basketball Notes 9/3 ### Aces Win Fifth Straight, Keep Pace Atop Standings ### Aces defeat Dream 92-82 for 15th win in 17 games Las Vegas improved to 15-2 with the win, keeping pace with the Chicago Sky (15-3) atop the WNBA standings. The Aces have now won five straight games and 12 of their last 13. A'ja Wilson led the way for Las Vegas with 24 points and 10 rebounds, her 11th double-double of the season. Kelsey Plum added 21 points, while Chelsea Gray chipped in with 19 points and eight assists. The Dream were led by Rhyne Howard's 25 points. Tiffany Hayes added 18 points, while Erica Wheeler had 15 points and eight assists. The Aces took control of the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Dream 29-19 to take a 51-37 lead at the half. Las Vegas shot 53.8% from the field in the first half, compared to just 36.4% for the Dream. The Aces continued to build on their lead in the second half, extending their advantage to 20 points in the fourth quarter. The Dream never got closer than 12 points in the final period. With the win, the Aces remain in first place in the Western Conference standings.
