Oilers and Canucks set for winner-take-all Game 7
Edmonton looks to avoid elimination in Vancouver
By Caleb Kerney
The Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks will face off in a winner-take-all Game 7 at Rogers Arena on Monday night. The Oilers are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss in Game 6, while the Canucks won 5-2 in Game 5.
The Oilers have been the better team for most of the series, but the Canucks have shown a lot of resilience. Vancouver is 2-0 in elimination games this postseason, and they will be looking to finish the job on Monday night.
The Oilers, meanwhile, are looking to avoid elimination and force a Game 8. Edmonton has a lot of experience in Game 7s, but they have not won one since 2006.
Monday night's game is sure to be a close one. The Oilers and Canucks are two evenly matched teams, and the winner will likely be the team that makes the fewest mistakes.
